TEEFS! Sinestro for Colin!

This one is for Colin over at Super Duper Toy Box! A printed and signed copy will be sent out soon!

TEEFS! Firestorm for Derf!

I managed to find a few minutes to knock out another character for my Payback list (art that I owe people) done in my TEEFS style. Since I decided to just make all of my payback characters into TEEFS characters, i expect to get this list finished off much sooner than anticipated.

This one is for the mighty Derf over at Derf's Domain! Enjoy, buddy! (I'll be mailing out a printed and signed version at some point... I promise.)

Payback Stormtrooper for Chunky B!

Next up in my series of art pieces designed to payback some of the kickass fellow bloggers that have sent me cool stuff in the mail is this Stormtrooper piece for Chunky B of Eclectorama fame. I tried to include some of the more famous Stormtrooper moments, like getting taken out by a rock thrown by an Ewok.

Enjoy, Chunky B! I'll be mailing your signed print soon!

Payback Pac Man for Jboy!

I've recently taken up making some art pieces for my fellow toy bloggers, since so many of them have sent me cool stuff in the mail, and as a small way of paying it back, I've asked them to tell me what character from TV, movies, comics or video games they'd like me to draw in the same style as the Batman piece that I did for Chunky B.

My cyber-homie Jboy picked Pac Man, and his wish is my command! Here's the first in the Payback series...

Hope you like it Jboy!, I'll be sending a signed copy to you very soon! Wakka wakka wakka!

A Cartoon Bats for Chunky B!

Some of you may have heard about the "Battle for the Cowl", a contest in which I was soundly beaten by my most worthy opponent, Chunky B of Eclectorama. Part of the deal was that the loser had to fork over a Batman figure and to draw the winner an original piece of Batman art, declaring the winner the king of all Batman figure collectors.

And since I lost, here's what I made for Chunky B...

This is a newer style for me. A mix of basic shapes in Adobe Illustrator and then refined a bit in Photoshop. I had so much fun with this piece that I may just have to put the whole CARZ! thing on hold for a bit and maybe do a series of character portraits in this style. We'll see.

Until then, I have an "assignment" to draw a pirate/ninja/zombie fight. Stay tuned!
