Dork Horde Hiatus & Other News!

Hey kiddies! I just wanted to let everyone know that the Horde is going quiet for a few days because as of this morning, I will be flying through the air, on my way to enjoying 5 days of non-stop fun at the happiest place on Earth, Disneyland!

Your mighty Lord of Dorkness is about to turn 40 years old, and to celebrate that, my gorgeous wife has surprised me with first class tickets to California, complete with a pair of 3-day park hopper Disney passes, a full day at Universal Studios, dinner at Medieval Times and 5 nights in a 4 star hotel!

This is going to be EPIC!

Sooooooo, I'll be too busy having loads of fun to get any blogging done.

HOWEVER, I'll have a State of the Horde post up on Dec. 3rd or 4th which will include everything you'll all need to know about the Dork Horde Secret Santa Gift Exchange and the 2nd Annual Action Figure Nativity contest! So stay tuned.

FOR THE HORDE!!!

  2. Nice! My parents took my wife and I to DisneyWorld for my 40th. She and I had been plenty times before but my parents had never been. It was a great time.

You must have a Dole Whip (unless you hate pineapple) for me while you're there!

    3. Also, if your wife hasn't done so already, make sure you tell them it's your birthday when you go to Disney, whether or not it's the actual day.

  3. Just remember -- when you go to Medieval Times, root for the Blue Knight because he rules. The Red Knight sucks the big one.

    1. Maybe they'll make a "Disney Snow Park" up here Jeremy, then we could go all winter long. It would be closed in the summer though.

    2. I could see it now.

Icy Splash Mountain, Big Snowy Mountain, Freezing River Run and the tower of... frostbite?

and we could all get frozen churros and ride the Pirates of Saskatchewan.

I dare you to present your ticket at the gate exactly the way you are doing it in the picture.
