Your mighty Lord of Dorkness is about to turn 40 years old, and to celebrate that, my gorgeous wife has surprised me with first class tickets to California, complete with a pair of 3-day park hopper Disney passes, a full day at Universal Studios, dinner at Medieval Times and 5 nights in a 4 star hotel!
This is going to be EPIC!
Sooooooo, I'll be too busy having loads of fun to get any blogging done.
HOWEVER, I'll have a State of the Horde post up on Dec. 3rd or 4th which will include everything you'll all need to know about the Dork Horde Secret Santa Gift Exchange and the 2nd Annual Action Figure Nativity contest! So stay tuned.
FOR THE HORDE!!!
Have an awesome time!!! Happy early birthday!
ReplyDeleteNice! My parents took my wife and I to DisneyWorld for my 40th. She and I had been plenty times before but my parents had never been. It was a great time.
ReplyDeleteYou must have a Dole Whip (unless you hate pineapple) for me while you're there!
What is that?
DeleteBEHOLD!

OH YES, DEFINITELY!!
DeleteYou must get one of those.
Also, if your wife hasn't done so already, make sure you tell them it's your birthday when you go to Disney, whether or not it's the actual day.
DeleteJust remember -- when you go to Medieval Times, root for the Blue Knight because he rules. The Red Knight sucks the big one.
ReplyDeleteYou're going down red knight! Down, down, down. Red knight goin' down.
DeleteAwesome! Have fun (and happy pre-birthday)! My Wife and I went to DisneyWorld for our honeymoon and it was a blast
ReplyDeleteIf I lived in the states I'd be hitting up Disney Land and World yearly.
Maybe they'll make a "Disney Snow Park" up here Jeremy, then we could go all winter long. It would be closed in the summer though.
DeleteI could see it now.
DeleteIcy Splash Mountain, Big Snowy Mountain, Freezing River Run and the tower of... frostbite?
and we could all get frozen churros and ride the Pirates of Saskatchewan.
Happy early Birthday, and have a good time.
ReplyDeleteI dare you to present your ticket at the gate exactly the way you are doing it in the picture.
Have a blast dude! Remember this at Disneyland it is okay to be a kid. Actually, it is probably like any other day. Am I right. Enjoy dude.

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Reis and enjoy your trip!
ReplyDeleteHave fun !! It seems we are all hitting the big 4 0 this year :(
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! Yes, it does seem we are all of about the same vintage, as Michael said :D
ReplyDeleteWow,a little late but Happy B-Day Reis!
ReplyDeleteYou're still early! This was just my birthday trip. My actual birthday isn't until the 18th. :)
DeleteThen I take it back ;) BTW-Love the new header!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the club and happy belated birthday. Shoot I was just there myself. Would have liked to have met up for a bit. What did you think of the updated Star Tours?
